Had a bit of trouble figuring out how to do what, but I tend to be a bit slow, playing this sort of game, but that's my bad, not yours [DEVs].I won't spoil anything, but the end was truly heartbreaking. I didn't run into any hiccups or bugs and enjoyed playing the game. Thank you for making it :o]
What am I?
the game is lagging in Chrome but it works fine on Microsoft Edge why?
Not a bad little game although the sensitivity was a bit all over the place, aside that good work :)
i win yay
Great short game Good job👍
That was extroadinary. It was very smart of you to show us the backround of this creepy but fascinating game! Congrats!
How do you interact with objects?
I liked the clean design of the game as it keeps the player wondering how a small apartment like this is related to something more horrifying. The television part took a long time to load in my opinion so maybe it can be made faster a little as I almost thought the game crashed on me or something XD.
I liked the sudden twist of something innocent (making breakfast) to a horrifying incident. I don't know if the ending is supposed to be a black screen but if it is, it would be good if animations were made for that part to show the ending of the game. I felt that the game could have more interactions and more hints of what happened in the apartment through objects and flashback etc.
Overall, this was a good short horror game to play and it has a good twist mid-game.Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.
10/10 I got to make breakfast and flush a toilet.
On a more serious note, I love how video games can elevate things that are relatively mundane and the twist at the midpoint was amazing. I liked the psychological horror aspect and the warping of the scene. That phone will haunt me.
i never got to eat my pizza :(
(really nice creepy atmosphere and such. i really like all the little details of the room!)
great game and great storytelling. As someone who doesn't like playing horror games, even I wanted to keep playing despite the fear of a jumpscare
i love how the tone was set first you do these mundane task like a normal person and then out of no where you are thrown in to a darker scene.
Super weird and creepy, but in a cool way. There are all of these nice little details that make you feel like something is off about the place your in (the cut phone wire, the nearly empty fridge, the fact that this guy only fried one strip of bacon. How can you only have one??). The way the elements slowly build up but never truly give you a big dramatic scare is great.
The story is really interesting here. I enjoy the slow unraveling of what's happening. The atmosphere is great especially towards the end. really engaging and well made all around.
The setting and atmosphere of your game is great! The narrative aspect of your game is really interesting as well. I think it would be cool to see a couple more interactable objects around the apartment. A couple things that I'd suggest is possibly making the section where the player watches Tv could be a little shorter or possibly add a couple more images that could cycle on the Tv.
